Spiced Apple Protein Muffin

We’ve used our perfectly balanced Formula 1 shake mix to add the delicious flavour of spiced apple, along with protein and fibre, to these satisfyingly tasty fruity treats. They’re ready in under 30 minutes and are perfect for freezing, too—if there are any left, that is!

Cook time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 2 scoops Formula 1 Spiced Apple
  • 100g rolled oats
  • 60g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 30g dried apple, chopped
  • 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp flaxseed mixed with tbsp water and set aside to thicken)
  • 200ml almond milk
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
Method:

Preheat your oven to 180 C.

Combine the Herbalife Formula 1 Spiced Apple, oats, flour, baking powder and dried apple.

Add the flax eggs, almond milk, agave nectar and vanilla essence and mix until combined.

Line a muffin tray with 9 cupcake cases and divide the mixture between each case.

Transfer to the oven and back for 15 minutes, or until golden.
