Mocha Banana Split

HPIC Mocha banana split high protein shake in a glass

Fresh, creamy banana blended with the sweet taste of mocha and a hint of dark chocolate on top set this low fat, protein-rich iced shake apart from the rest. Try it as a refreshing refuel after your morning workout or enjoy at home as an indulgent yet guilt-free weekend breakfast.

Ingredients:
  • 45g banana, reserving a slice to decorate
  • 2 scoops (23g) High Protein Iced Coffee Mocha Flavour
  • 60ml semi-skim milk
  • 25g zero fat (Greek) yogurt
  • 120ml cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • 3g 90% dark chocolate
Method:

Place the banana in a liquidiser and add the High Protein Iced Coffee Mocha Flavour. Blend until smooth then add 2 tbsp of the milk and blend until combined. Add the remainder of the milk and blend, then the Greek yogurt and the water. Blend thoroughly.

Fill a serving glass with ice cubes and pour over the shake. Cut the banana slice halfway in and pop it on the side of the glass. Place the chocolate in a small microwaveable dish and microwave for 1 min. Stir the chocolate with a teaspoon until smooth, then drizzle the chocolate over the top of the glass. Drink immediately.
